“Held and Withheld”

From within the body, two gestures emerge: a clenched fist and an open palm.

The opposing forms suggest tension between protection and offering, resistance and vulnerability. The work holds both impulses at once, revealing the body not as a stable form, but as a space where contradictory forces coexist.
